Tuesday was Class Picture day
Individual ones scheduled, too...I'm not that into school pictures; I had Leka's taken at Target--much better price And cuter pictures. However with it being class pictures we thought we'd better put Leka in a cute get-up (and maybe I'd be game for her individual ones, too if I really liked them).
So we picked out a dress, painted her nails & toes and even went & bought a pair of pink leggings.
I was surprised that Leka was fine with sleeping in sponge curlers (last time I suggested this it was a resounding "NO!").
So Tues. morning we got her hair all pretty & cute outfit on...
But then when I picked her up from school she said they'd moved picture day to Wednesday--she wasn't happy about that one after all her excitement & willingness to wear a dress & hair down to school (that's a Rare occurance for her!)
So I decided instead of wasting her fancy get-up we'd take pics of our own! Leka agreed & we headed over to Mantua (a quaint tiny town down the road that has lots of pretty photo op spots).

So very cute, I love her toothless smile. I love her hairdo. Addy used to let me do really cute things like that to her hair, but then she quit letting me do it, so we chopped it. I miss it sometimes (mostly just sundays). Leka looks very beautiful!

I would not be very happy about them changing days when you went to so much work!! But the pictures are so cute!!
