Spoiled...

...for a day--and the right day: Mother's Day!

I agree w/my mom--Mother's Day is so fun when you have little kids!

My kiddos were eager to give me a special day!

I woke up to this:

(love Leka's fuzzy bed-head! ...Nase Claus had come to town--he put my presents in a big, blue velvet sack--No idea where he got it!)

Had to document this moment!

Nase making me a killer breakfast (AND doing the dishes--wow!)

I'm lucky to have a hubby that really loves his own mom, but also gives me a great Mother's Day for being the mother of his (well, our) kids :)

...We got a really fun surprise visit from my brother, Robby, last weekend & he & Nase were going to go see Iron Man 2--but then Nase decided I should go since it was M.D. weekend. SO nice to go to a cool movie in a really nice theater w/no "Mom, I have to go to the bathroom!" ...Sometimes the best Mother's Day gift is a break from motherhood(!)

My slow-cooker got fried...a blessing in disguise 'cause it was a small old dinosaur one that didn't have the removable ceramic pot--rarely used it because clean up was such a pain!

So I figured out how to get a practical gift And the one you really want...wait til a package comes in the mail, Then tell your husband what you'd really like (for example, an iPod dock)... and Abracadabra!--both appear! ;)

(Nase, if you're reading this--Just Kidding!!...I just got lucky...Plus it Was Leka that picked out my electronic Mother's Day present! :)
