Austin (my preschooler who just turned 5) has started reading!
The other day while driving in the car I thought I'd just take a stab in the dark & see if he could sound out a word I spelled for him. -Sure enough, he got it! Now he loves practicing his reading--I'll write out words for him & he also likes reading words out of his Busy Town book.
Remember These? Full of pictures & words :) I need to get him some more. -Also need Dr. Suess's Hop on Pop--it's the first book I read :)
