Oh Christmas Tree...

Our Christmas Tree has been sitting in our driveway for a couple of weeks & we've been fighting the nastiest colds all week...but we finally felt well enough today to put up the tree.
It's a big beautiful full one that we cut down ourselves...Leka & Austin had a lot of fun helping me decorate. -- Now we'll just see if it stays decorated (and standing) with the busy fingers in this house!
(My new favorite ornaments I got this year, but they're really heavy & have to hang inside the brances.)

Oh Katie your tree is so beautiful and a real one!!! We have not had a real tree sense my parents were married. So it has been a long, long, time ago. I miss being in Oregon where it was so easy to find a beautiful Christmas tree! I bet your house smells so good; there is nothing better than the smell of a real Christmas tree and Christmas cookies baking.
Temple square was very beautiful but it was so busy when we went I did not really get to stop and admire the lights. Never go on a Saturday! We ended up walking all together 16 city blocks because there was not parking even close to the Temple. I do hope you get to go with your family soon when everyone is feeling better. Hopefully it won’t be busy for you. What a wonderful place to take your family Christmas picture at. You will have to have Annie or someone come along so they can take it!
So I started face book. Are you familiar with that? It is like My Space or Linked In. It has been fun to look up some old friends; but I still prefer to blog. It seems more personal (blogging). It has been keeping me way to occupied. My husband is in San Fran so I have been playing on the computer in his absence!
