Last weekend we took a trip up to my home town of Baker, Oregon.

Nase was working at the town north of there (La Grande), so instead of flying home I picked him up--I've been wanting to show him the area for quite a while.

I Love Eastern Oregon--it was a beautiful, neat, fun place to grow up!..Baker's a smaller, country town--it hasn't changed much.
........

PS: To my friends in Baker, I'm sorry we didn't have a chance to see any of you--we were only there for 2 days & our kids had a stomach bug...we'll have a nice visit next time we're up for a longer trip.

Katie I love these pictures you took of Baker or Union county! What a very fun and exciting trip to get to go to Baker with your family! So do you think you could convince Nase to ever move there? Robert said that he refuses....some day I will ware him down! he he he evil laugh!
I love the pictures you took at the Sumpter Dredge. You all are so photogenic!
Darn nab it the kidos and to get tummy flues. I guess though on a positive note you and Nase did not get sick.
The tour you guys took of the mental hospital at the hot springs looked cool. To think you had already had that tour unsupervised and with a lot of the original medical paraphernalia. Not many people can say that!!! I think the lady that runs the place is a little full of her self for charging such ridiculous prises to do anything there. Would it not be the best to take that place over and run it! There is so much potential.
You guys should start a tradition and take a trip up there once a year at least. One of these days we are for sure going to go together.
