School!!

Monday was Leka's first day of school!!

(First day of "real" school..they went for an hr. & 20 min's last week to introduce them to the class/teacher & to pre-assess.)

She loves Kindergarten & it's going great!...She came home Ecstatic with a huge smile her first day!! :D

Austin had to have his "1st day of school picture" taken too.

(glad he did cause it's pretty cute :)

He's having a bit of a hard time that he doesn't get to ride the bus & go to school w/his sister...he was really bummed her first day--I took him to McDonalds & got him a happy meal to make up for it. --I'm hoping he'll realize that he has it good w/his 1-on-1 mommy time.

I was a little nervous about Leka riding the bus (in fact I asked her if she'd rather have me drive her to school, but she said she was "so very excited" to ride the bus :) ...And she really has liked it--plus it is quite convenient!

(It's also been nice having her in afternoon kindergarten--she's such a night owl!)
