...that the kids don't think Jolly old Saint Nicholas is really that jolly.
-While I did a little shopping I saw that Santa was at Bowmans (local grocery store), so I took Leka & Austin in to see him. I don't know if he was getting tired of seeing kids or what because he was rushing them through & there was hardly a line...Not much of the Jolly Ho-Ho-Ho stuff either.
...Anyway, it was still fun & the kids seemed to like it. Leka asked for a Barbie (meaning the Princess Tiana Barbie she told me--Santa's got that one covered ;)And to my surprise, Austin wasn't shy at all--he ran over & hopped on Santa's lap.
(But when he hesitated one second after being asked what he wanted, Santa just said "Do you like toys? I'm sure there's a toy you'll get.")
(But when he hesitated one second after being asked what he wanted, Santa just said "Do you like toys? I'm sure there's a toy you'll get.")Maybe this is what I get for not being willing to go to the mall--I was just kind of hoping Santa would make a better impression.
(That's Ok...the "Naughty/Nice List" is still keeping the kids in check--he, he ;)
