Leka picked out her own dress this year...and went with a hat, too--for some reason it reminds me of an Anne-of-Green-Gables look. (minus red braids :)

(Rob & Jamie you have the world's sweetest dog!) Baxter gets in on the Easter action...he was hunting for eggs then chewing them up.
One of our family traditions is to do a big fun outdoor Easter egg hunt on Easter Saturday in a neat outdoor place...we were planning on going to a pretty spot in the mountain foothills, but got rained out...So, plan B--we had our egg hunt in the airport hanger.
(It's always a great fall-back spot...like at Christmas when we woke up to 2 feet of snow--we took the kids to the airport to ride their bikes.)
Riding the 4-wheelers on trails at Grandma & Grandpa's is always a hilight for the kids, but this time Austin especially loved getting a ride on Grandpa's motorcycle!

...but with the temperature in the 70's and water warmer than the lake ever gets, it soon turned into wading...
...and deeper
...till the kids were full-on swimming! (I wish I had the pic of Leka laying flat in the waterfall :)
It was nice to have a little taste of summer in the spring before we came back to winter in the spring!!
My favorite place to go in Blanding in the spring--Cottonwood Canyon when the water is running...a beautiful, fun oasis!

Rob thinks our dog is a wuss, haha. Looks like you guys had fun, I am sure the kids would have loved to go swimming with Leka and Austin.
That looks like a ton of fun! What a fun way to celebrate Easter...cute dress Leka and Austin looked very handsome. I sure hope the warm weather decides to come soon. We're glad to have you guys back.
Oh that swimming hole looks awesome. We will have to go check that out someday. Your children are beautiful on easter (everyday actually). I am DONE with winter!!!
